About Us

Our names are Dione Rodgers and TaMuriele Stapleton and we are the creators of AfroGemz. We are invested in helping people Be Well, Be Healthy and Be at Peace, by introducing them to the healing aspects of crystals and semi-precious gems.

 

The world has been in recovery since COVID. Most people have begun to rethink their life choices and reprioritize what is important. There is an overall need for increased self-care. Traditional means of self-care are limited by time, distance, money, etc.

 

AfroGemz looks to introduce the healing aspects of crystals and gems into a community where there has been a general lack of understanding of how to use them to enhance your self-care routine. Initially, our journey began due to the stress of our corporate jobs and not being able to spend quality time with family and friends. It feels like we are working to work and not making a significant impact on making lives better. Not only that, but our personal mental and physical health suffered.

 

AfroGemz's mission is to provide a safe, healing, and welcoming space for individuals on their personal growth journey to explore alternative forms of healing and self-care. Once we experienced the manifestation of this new energy and source of peace, we wanted to be able to share that with others.
